Remember the record snowball fight held earlier this year? Well, the record-setting crew is back with Party Camp, a new event that benefits a local charity. This time around, the record set to be smashed? A water balloon fight, and that record is set to go down this Saturday, August 17, at the Seattle Center’s International Fountain & Fisher Plaza.

Tickets to the event will run you $25, but proceeds help benefit Camp Korey at Carnation Farm, a “serious fun camp” that hosts kids with serious and life-altering medical conditions and their families at no cost. The camp offers “year-round recreation with full support for the medical needs of campers, plus all the fun of just being a kid.”

All participants must be 14 years or older and show photo identification for entry (note: participants under 18 must bring a signed waiver).

And, if you’re not into water balloon fights or can’t make the date, you can still help by becoming a water balloon filler volunteer. The group needs volunteers to help fill over 300,000 water balloons, and the filling has already begun! Volunteers get the thrill of helping out, plus a t-shirt and chance to win a new iPad and other prizes.

If you make it to Party Camp, in addition to water balloon fight fun, you can also enjoy a beer garden and food trucks that’ll be on hand to keep you fueled. The day’s events begin at noon and conclude at 7pm, with the official world-record breaking fight taking place at 4pm.
