Seattle Animal Shelter Pet of the Week: Chirp

Pet of the Week

On Fridays we feature an adoptable pet from the Seattle Animal Shelter (SAS). SAS is located at 2061 15th Ave W, just north of Whole Foods, at the corner of W. Armory Way. SAS is open Wednesday – Sunday, noon-6pm.

Queen Anne View has not met any of these pets – SAS is providing us with the description, as they know them well. We encourage potential adopters to get in touch with SAS and work with them to evaluate the compatibility of your home and a new pet.

Chirp 2013-6-20 1Meet Chirp!

Reach a friendly hand out to this silvery girl and she’ll respond with the cutest little chirp. Ditto if you speak sweetly to her. Such a social lass!

Chirp clearly thrives on attention. She is a gentle, mellow and affectionate lap cat. Her past is somewhat of a mystery, but it must have been filled with positive human experiences.

Chirp would fit easily into a first-cat household, and even seems okay with other cats. She is neat, petite, and well-mannered. A better all-round companion would be difficult to find. Why not take her home right now?

Chirp (SAS #13-5416) is hanging out at the Interbay Petco store located at 2001 15th Ave W – right around the corner from the Shelter. Come on down to meet her and other adoptable felines.
