This Saturday, June 1st, a group of volunteers will be gathering for a planting party at Lower Kinnear Park, and everyone is welcome to pitch in and help. The group will be planting trees and shrubs that were moved during recent construction.
The work party runs from 9am to noon, just meet near the concrete trail halfway to the dog park. Tools will be provided, but bring your own water and sturdy shoes (and, dress for the weather, whatever it may be). Gloves are not required, but if you have a pair, bring them along.
