This year, we have not one, but two Egg Hunts planned for Queen Anne. And, have you seen the latest forecast? We have a beautiful weekend on tap if the forecast holds (cross your fingers) – sunny and in the low 60s! Perfect for getting outside and celebrating Spring with egg hunts on both Saturday and Sunday!

First up, Saturday: as part of the Seattle Parks and Recreation Department’s egg hunts, the Queen Anne Spring Egg Hunt will be held at the Queen Anne Community Center (meet in the gym) on Saturday from 10am to noon. This egg hunt is designed for those 11 and younger. Bring your kids and something to gather eggs in (basket, reusable grocery bag, etc.).

Next up, Sunday: on my walk yesterday I passed a flyer for an egg hunt and egg toss at Rodgers Park, slated for Sunday. The festivities run from 10am to 1pm, enter the park at the 1st Ave W and W Raye St entrance. This event also includes coffee and light refreshments for the adults, and age divisions as follows:

  • 0-3 years: egg hunt
  • 4-6 years: egg hunt
  • 6-9 years: egg hunt
  • 10-13: egg toss – kids should wear clothes that can get messy!

To register for the Rodgers Park event, contact Travis Robinson via email or at 206.678.4299.
