Thanks to a tip from a reader (thanks, Mark!), we got the heads up to a new fro-yo spot opening up on Lower Queen Anne/Uptown. If you’re craving self-serve fro-yo, you’ll no longer have to trek up the hill to Menchie’s to get your fix – the new Yeti Yogurt is “opening soon” at 604 1st Ave N.
Yeti Yogurt’s web site is also “coming soon”, but one can likely expect the typical frozen yogurt + toppings fare. Their Facebook page has very little information – but it does show our new shop along with another location in the U-District.
Update: Per an email from Yeti Yogurt, they plan to open the Queen Anne location around April 1st with a grand opening celebration planned for a following Saturday (date TBD). From the company:
“Yeti Yogurt Frozen Creations is a new chain of self-serve frozen yogurt stores that will combine exceptional customer service, high-quality products and superb facility design at its locations in the Pacific Northwest.”
The grand opening will include free yogurt and prizes – stay tuned!
