Queen Anne Elementary is hosting its “Reach for the Stars!” Auction on March 8th at the Shilshole Bay Beach Club, 6pm-11pm. 100% of the auction proceeds go directly to QAE’s Explorer Fund, supporting a range of student services including counseling, art classes, classroom assistants, and more. The auction is key to funding and maintaining student services, so by supporting the Auction, you support the school and its students.
To help support the Auction now, you can donate items via the online form or send in the form via email. QAE needs 150 auction items by this Friday, February 1st – all they need are the forms for donated items, the actual physical items are due March 1st. Suggested items include business services, stays at vacation properties, wine collections, tickets to shows or performances, and gift certificates to local businesses.
Auction volunteers are also needed – no experience required, and the time commitment varies by activity. Volunteers are needed to help with donations, class art projects, class auction baskets, social media posting, and day-of-event help. If you’d like to attend the QAE Auction, you can purchase individual tickets, a table for 10, or sponsor a ticket for a teacher. Early birds save $10 by purchasing by this Friday, February 1st.
