As part of the ongoing Mercer Corridor Project (but really, it’ll be done one day), new Mercer eastbound lane restrictions begin this Monday, December 10th.
According to SDOT, the lane restrictions will last “approximately two weeks” as SDOT installs new signal poles and mast arms at the intersection of Mercer and Fairview Ave N. Two eastbound lanes on Mercer will remain open to traffic between Terry and Fairview. The work will occur on weekdays between 9am and 3pm. A uniformed SPD officer will facilitate traffic flow, but we all know it’ll still be messy.
