Have you been wondering what’ll happen to the shuttered Cloves restaurant space at 12 Mercer Street? Well, wonder no more! Krua Thai is opening their second location on Lower Queen Anne/Uptown, taking over the spot of the recently closed Cloves restaurant. The 6-year old Ravenna favorite plans to open their doors by mid-October, and that’s just around the corner!
I spoke with Michelle at Krua Thai, and she says the new space will be much larger than their Ravenna location and will allow them to focus more on the dine-in experience – but don’t worry, take-out service will still be available for those on-the-go. The menu remains the same, with the addition of beer and wine at the Queen Anne location.
According to Michelle, Krua Thai is “very excited” to be coming to Queen Anne, and looking forward to their opening in just a couple week. They may start with a soft-open, so if you happen by while in the mood for some Thai food, “stop in if you see that [they’re] open”!
