Tomorrow is Free Museum Day!

If you’re looking for something FREE to do tomorrow, Saturday, September 29th, the Smithsonian Magazine is sponsoring Museum Day Live! tomorrow. It’s an annual event where museums across the country, including some of our own local museums, allow free admission to anyone with a Museum Day ticket.

There’s a small catch – each ticket is good for two people, but tickets are limited to one per household. So, if you have 4 people in your household, two can get free admission, while the other 2 will have to pay full price (which, if those 2 people are kids or seniors, you can go for the discounted tickets for them).

Participating Seattle-area museums include (click links for tickets):

Henry Art Gallery
Log House Museum
Museum of History & Industry at Seattle Center’s International Fountain Pavilion
Nordic Heritage Museum
Seattle Art Museum
The Center for Wooden Boats
The Museum of Flight
KidsQuest Children’s Museum (Bellevue)
