As we close out the summer, do you have electronic items left over from yard sales that didn’t sell, such as old TVs, appliances, electronics, fitness equipment, and other items both big and small? Or, is it just time to get rid of things that you no longer use? How about old CRT televisions and other electronic items that are not allowed in weekly garbage pickup?
Well, all of those items can be recycled – whether they work or not. So, plan on doing an inventory this weekend to prep for next Sunday’s Free Electronics Recycling Event!
Brooks Rand Labs is sponsoring the event, and all donations (goods and cash) will benefit the Multiple Sclerosis Society’s local chapter. Brooks Rand is located in Ballard, just across the ship canal from Queen Anne:
