Last weekend I counted over a dozen garage/estate/yard sale flyers posted on the corner of Boston and Queen Anne – yet, none of the sales were posted in the Queen Anne View Forum, prompting this friendly reminder that readers can use the Forum as a hyperlocal Craigslist. We know, the Forum was filled with spam over the summer, but with new blood (Elyssa and yours truly) coming on board in the past month, we’ve cleaned up the Forum and are moderating the inevitable spam.

How can you use the Forum? Community bulletin board, lost & found, yard sales, general community info, and for-sale postings.  We check for items that warrant a posting on the main page, such as lost pets, break-ins, etc. – and you can always email us directly at tips@queenanneview.com

And, while we’re on the topic of weekend yard sales, don’t forget the Uptown Alliance Clothing Exchange at Counterbalance Park tomorrow, Saturday, September 15, 11am-3pm – everything is free, just take what you need and bring what you don’t!
