The large colorful pig that holds court outside of charley+may at 2225 Queen Anne Ave, is heading back to live with her artist-owner Sunday morning, September 2nd. Your last chance to take photos or visit her will be Saturday.
Kinga Czerska, the artist of April, was part of the art installation in 2001, Pigs on Parade fundraiser, that featured 100 unique and vibrantly painted pigs. April’s first home was outside the W Hotel in downtown Seattle.
April was a great addition to Queen Anne for the last year and she’ll be greatly missed!
