Seattle Parks and Recreation is hosting a survey on how Seattleites use city parks so that the department can improve our city parks. The online survey is open today through September 24, 2012.
The survey is Phase 2 of the Seattle Parks and Recreation department’s process to develop a strategic direction for the “Parks Legacy Plan”. Phase 2 includes the public survey, as well as a staff and community review of the draft plan in Spring 2013, with another review of Phase 3 in Fall 2013.
The survey asks respondents about:
– Park activities you and your family participate in
– Your satisfaction with parks and park programs
– Safety of parks, community centers, athletic fields
– Key maintenance issues
– Recreational programs – both current and wish-list programs
Third-party DHM Research administers the survey and all responses will be reported in aggregate with no answers associated with respondents’ names. The survey is divided into sections, and you can either answer all of the questions or just the ones that you find of interest.
