“Night out Against Crime” is this Tuesday evening, a chance for Queen Anne neighbors to get together for some old-fashioned community building.

“The event is a unique opportunity to bring your neighbors together, welcome new neighbors, talk about crime prevention and Block Watch efforts, and mainly just have a great time with food, music, games – whatever you want,” explains the City of Seattle. If you’d like to close down your street, you have until noon to register your block with the Seattle Police. Last year, 1,327 events were registered with SPD across the city.
Aaron posted in the Queen Anne forum about this Night Out event at Gilman Gardens, and if you’re celebrating on your block, please leave a comment below (or on our Facebook page) with a few details.
