Lower Queen Anne cars get ‘the boot’

The City of Seattle has released a map showing where its parking enforcement officers are giving scofflaws the boot. Since July of last year, officers have booted 2,713 vehicles for having four or more unpaid tickets. The map shows the largest concentration in downtown, Capitol Hill and Belltown, but there are quite a few in Lower Queen Anne/Uptown as well (click for larger):

So far the program — which is a year old — has produced $2.2 million in revenue for the city. Officers boot about 75 cars a week.
