Westlake Avenue N. Lane Closure on Sunday
One northbound lane of Westlake Avenue North will be closed near the south end of the Fremont Bridge (around Halladay Street) on Sunday, April 22 from 8 a.m. to no later than 5 p.m. The closure will allow volunteers to work safely for an Earth Day event.
Fairview Ave. N weekend lane restriction postponed to Sunday
The Seattle Department of Transportation (SDOT) announces the postponement of the Saturday, April 21 lane restrictions on Fairview Avenue N due to multiple events occurring in the Seattle area. This work has been rescheduled for Sunday, April 22.
Fairview Avenue N has a single southbound lane closed between Mercer Street and Republican Street this week and on Sunday, April 22 to accommodate underground electrical work. This closure will also restrict the center left-turn lane on the Mercer Street off-ramps onto southbound Fairview Avenue N. Closure hours are 7:00 p.m. to 6:00 a.m. weekdays, and from 12:01 a.m. to 12 midnight on Sunday. One left-turn lane from the Mercer Street off-ramps onto southbound Fairview Avenue N will remain open at all times.
Reminder: Ballard Bridge closed at night this weekend
Painting continues on the Ballard Bridge this weekend. Night closures are scheduled for 3 a.m. to 6 a.m. on Saturday, and from midnight on Saturday through 6 a.m. Sunday morning. This is the second weekend of nighttime closures for painting, and the Seattle Department of Transportation plans to close it next weekend as well.
