A weekly rotation of food trucks to be parked at 15th Avenue West and West Boston Street begins today.
Today’s truck is BUNS, which serves natural/organic food from beef, chicken and veggies. BUNS was noticed in Sunset Magazine this summer as one of three “Burger Kings” in Seattle. You can pre-order your food on the company web site. Other popular food trucks will be joining the rotation in the coming weeks.

A neighbor’s cat, Abbey, is missing. Abbey is a white, short-haired calico with a dark tail. She’s indoor-only and declawed. She went missing Sunday night — last seen around Ward and Taylor streets. Abbey is usually very vocal—she likes to talk. The owners are offering a $100 to anyone who finds her. 206-465-0617.

If you want to do a little early celebrating and feel good about it, there’s a chance to do just that in lower Queen Anne.
Drinking for a Cause is hosting the 4th Annual 12 Bars of Christmas, Saturday, Dec. 10, where a $5 donation buys participants a special wristband and access to drink specials at 12 bars–many in the lower and outer Queen Anne area.
The $5 goes toward Dynamic Family Services, an organization that works directly with families of disabled children to provide needed services and therapies. Last year’s event raised more than $1,300.
You can go to any of the bars listed below to purchase your wristband. The time next to the name of the bar represents when the specials begin:
