A chantey sing-along on board the Steamship Virginia V, docked at the Historic Ships Wharf in Seattle’s Lake Union Park, will be held Friday, April 8 from 8 to 10:30 p.m.

The Northwest Seaport’s musical program will be led by Brian Maskew. Maskew, originally from Yorkshire, England, keeps up the tradition of singing British folk and maritime songs here in the Northwest and has been on the faculty of most of the sea shanty camps held around the Northwest during the past few years.

Admission is free and all ages are welcome. Refreshments and CDs will be available for purchase.
