From the SPD Blotter:

On October 9th, at approximately 2:00 AM, West Precinct officers responded to a store in the 100 Block of Mercer Street on a report that store security was detaining a combative individual for shoplifting. According to security, they contacted the man for taking a bottle of wine without paying for it. The man refused to go back inside the store and began assaulting the security officers in the head with the bottle of wine. The security officers were able to take the suspect into custody and detain him until police were called.  Police arrived and arrested the man. He was later booked into the King County Jail for Investigation of Robbery.
