Just a reminder that the Queen Anne Library (400 W. Garfield St) and all other Seattle Public Libraries are closed today and won’t reopen until Tuesday, September 7th. Budget cuts forced the closure. A lot of the budget hits seem to be hitting the Queen Anne branch. I’ve noticed other branches not only are still open all week (while QA is closed Fridays and Sundays) but also offer multiple storytimes – while ours has been cut in the past.
