At approximately 12:37 a.m. today, Monday, January 4, a couple living in the 3400 block of 11th Ave W woke up to their dogs barking and found a man looking through the windows of their home. The male resident immediately went outside and chased the suspect away, while his wife called 911. The husband continued to follow the man from a distance on foot, until officers located the suspect at 12th Ave W and W Emerson St. According to the SPD report there was no evidence that the suspect, a 47-year-old man, had attempted entry into the house. Nonetheless, he was arrested for trespassing and it was later discovered that he had an outstanding warrant through the Department of Corrections VUSCA (drugs). He has since been booked into King County Jail for both trespassing and warrant.

Why has our neighborhood become such a target lately? This is really disturbing.
Kudos to the residents for keeping an eye on him so the cops could track him down!
