If you’ve been running around the hill gift-buying and holiday-prepping today, you may have seen Katharine “Kiki” Schmalzer doing the same–in a laundry basket. Charles Malody, a long time Queen Anne resident and family friend of Kiki’s parents, Peter and Suzanne Schmalzer, has been spotted wheeling the 14-month-old around the neighborhood in a French laundry basket to do some last-minute holiday shopping.

Peter clearly approved of his daughter’s holiday outing. He wrote,

QUEEN ANNE — Reports of a man, towing an infant around Queen Anne in a French laundry basket have been buzzing on the hill for weeks. Seen at Bustle, A&J Meats and Metropolitan Market, it seems the reports are true.

Although the Schmalzer’s call Greenwood home, Kiki sure has brought some extra cuteness to the hill!
