Tenoch Mexican Grill may be just 4 weeks away

December 22nd, 2009 · 18 Comments

On Saturday we broke the exciting news that Tenoch Mexican Grill will be opening a new location right here in Queen Anne. Today we have a few more details and a hopeful opening date!

According to Tenoch employee and daughter of owner Rebeca Gonzalez, Laura Lugo, the Mexican restaurant may be settled and open for business by January 18 – just four short weeks from now – though she says delays could push the opening back to the beginning of February. Nevertheless, Lugo says the Tenoch team is excited to make a new home on the hill.

“It’s a great location, great spot!” Lugo said. “And I know you guys don’t have a Mexican restaurant yet.”

And unlike Tenoch’s current location at 208 8th Ave S. in the International District, which is only open for lunch 11 a.m. to 5 p.m. Monday through Friday, the new Queen Anne location will be serving lunch and dinner, will have a bar, and will be open on weekends too! Yum!
