Coyote spotted at Terminal 91 this afternoon

November 20th, 2009 · Comments

One of our readers sent us a report of a coyote spotting near the Elliott Bay bike trail this afternoon. She forwarded us this mesage from a nearby office building,

There is a coyote on the campus of a biotech company near the elliot bay trail (terminal 91 bike path). The USDA has been called in and is trying to make the coyote go on its way. People have been asked to remain in the building while they work.

“The USDA is working to drive the coyote off of the premises, and we expect activity at approximately 1:00 this afternoon, November 20. The USDA will use a variety of methods, and during this time you may hear loud noises. For your safety, and to allow the USDA to perform their work, please stay inside for the rest of the afternoon.”

This is not the first time a coyote has been seen at Terminal 91. Last week our sister site, Magnolia Voice, reported on a sighting and even got a photo. Maybe it decided to come back and visit.
