SDOT has canceled the closure of the southbound lanes of the Battery St. Tunnel that had been planned from today, Tuesday, November 17 to Friday, November 20. They did not give a reason, but just said that the needed railing repair would be rescheduled.

But remember, through Wednesday, November 18, the center, northbound lane on the Viaduct will be closed from 9 a.m. to 3 p.m. from Virginia St. to the Western Ave. off-ramp so that crews can replace a damaged crash cushion. Look out for added traffic.
