Airplane noise meeting last night

Over fifty Magnolia residents met with representatives from Alaska Airlines, Boeing Field and SeaTac airport in a community meeting last night regarding the increased airplane noise that has affected their neighborhood, as well as Queen Anne and Ballard.

Attendees were able to voice opinions and speak with Airport Director Robert Burke, officials from the airlines and an FAA representative, who all said they were committed to investigating various ways – through new technologies or varying flight paths – to decrease noise.
