The jet's engine sounded more like a fighter than a large, heavy, commercial plane. The Air Force Two theory makes the most sense.

When it happened, I thought, “I hope Queen Anne View says what that was tomorrow!” It was scary — so much louder than normal, made me think something was very wrong, like the plane was going to crash into the bay or worse. Thanks for trying to sort it out for us.

I wouldn't say it was the noise pollution that bothered me rather that it was so freaky/scary loud

Oh my God. How many of my neighbors are this sort of sissy. Cowboy up folks. One plane on one night doth not noise pollution make. Sheesh.
