Checkerboard of outages all over QA as I was driving around just now. It seemed as if all the pedestrians were celebrating the outage by putting on black clothing and jaywalking. Or jayrunning in some cases. Come on, people! Don't you want to make it to 50?

What a relief to turn onto my own street and see all those porch lights twinkling. Sooo tired out power outages.

The problem occurred “in the vicinity of 8th W. & W. Galer.” The planned replacement underground cable will be installed from W. Galer through the alley between 6th & 7th W. for two blocks, then down the hill (west) on W. Blaine to 10th W. There will not be any planned outages for this work, though it will be noisy and dirty and disrupt access to the alley at times. City Light is holding an open-to-all informational meeting on Tuesday, Nov. 10th, 6:30-7:30 at the Queen Anne Library, 400 W. Garfield.

8th Avenue West runs perpendicular to West McGraw. There is no “between” — they cross.
