Queen Anne street art

August 31st, 2009 · 6 Comments

Walking around the hill over the last few days, I’ve come across some cute anonymous street art.

This little ladybug is right outside Ten Mercer, on Mercer Street.

This rocket ship is on an electrical box on Queen Anne Ave N. and Aloha.

Has anyone else come across any cute, random, anonymous art in Queen Anne recently?

Who gets to decide between “Street Art” which is good, and Grafitti which is bad, and must be removed within 24 hours?

Check out http://baldmanwatching.wordpress.com/ for more Seattle street art. There's a section just for QA street art.

Long ago I noticed little stenciled dogs seemingly at random locations in front of houses on sidewalks. Does anyone know if these meant anything (like some sort of underground dog sitting club?), or if it was just street art?
