Breast cancer survivor, Salon Joseph stylist and the Puget Sound Affiliate’s New Balance Survivor of the Year Anna Schumacher will be available to consult chemotherapy patients who are looking to re-grow their hair with style and class.

The Race for the Cure is vital to the Affiliate’s mission of raising awareness of breast cancer and money for breast health and breast cancer programs in the Puget Sound region.  The Affiliate’s goal to raise $2 million towards the fight to end breast cancer can be realized if every person joining the Race for the Cure commits to raising a minimum of $150, the cost of one mammogram.  Last year hundreds of women benefited from early screenings and other breast health programs provided by the local Affiliate.
