Queen Anne community center will be closed from Monday, June 1 through Friday, June 5, 2009. This closure is necessary to accommodate the replacement of old electrical equipment.

Parks and Recreation has an ongoing capital program to fund replacement of electrical systems in aging Parks buildings.  The project began approximately a month ago with the installation of a new conduit, wire, and panel boxes in the basement of the building. Once power is shut down to the facility, the new equipment will be wired, tested, and inspected for proper installation.

The facility will reopen for business on Saturday, June 6.
