Cat burglar arrested

April 22nd, 2009 by Miss Kitty

The person police believe is responsible for a string of burglaries in apartments and condominiums has been arrested.  (Please note that the photo to the right is not the actual suspect.) The so called cat burglar entered homes through sliding glass doors on upper floors of buildings.  The suspect was arrested in the Queen Anne area on Saturday after he tried to enter upper floor units.  Watchful neighbors called 911 and gave excellent descriptions of the man and which direction he fled.  SPD patrol cars arrived quickly and took the suspect into custody.

This is a good reminder to watch out for suspicious activity in your neighborhood.  Call 911 to report anything that doesn’t seem normal.  You can call Terrie Johnston at 684-4741 if you would like to schedule a security survey of your building or home.
