Full Circle Farms Offers Full Year Bounty

January 4th, 2009 · 5 Comments

During one of our snow days, I was introduced to Full Circle Farms,  300-acre certified organic produce farm in Carnation, Washington.  No, I didn’t actually go out to Carnation, but stopped by a local pickup spot in Queen Anne to help a friend of mine who couldn’t make it to the hill.

Full Circle Farm offers an assortment of fruits, vegetables and herbs through the Full Circle Farm’s Community Supported Agriculture (CSA) Program, your local connection to fresh organic produce.  How it works is simple.  You sign up for one of their produce options - a small, medium, or large box, delivered weekly or bi-weekly.  Then you find your pickup spot (Queen Anne is on their delivery list).

And you receive organic produce all year.  Check it out.

I have been receiving a small box of produce from Full Circle Farm every other week for a couple years now and I think it’s genius! If you’re not familiar with a CSA program, you’re just not sucking the marrow out of life because it’s like Christmas morning every other week when I open my box of gorgeous fruits and vegetables and then wait for all the inspirational ideas about how to enjoy the bounty of glorious food! Give it a try and tell Full Circle that I sent you; they’ll give me a free box for the referral:)

Thanks Suzanne and ‘Queen Anne Friend’! I was sent your blog link by Jenny who makes our CSA newsletter “farm notes”- that include all those “inspirational ideas about how to enjoy the bounty”! My role our Outreach Manager is to bring the farm and the community together on more intimate levels- from farm education tours to community fundraisers. You have given us both a bit of ‘inspiration’ for today- for compliments such as this are as PRICELESS as the ground we grow on. Be sure to check in to our blog weekly to see updates on farm and good food news and events! -maggie
