Update 11:12 pm:  The snow is great for sledding!  But, stay indoors if you can. The streets are slick.  Send us your snow pictures so we can let your neighbors know what to expect in areas around Queen Anne.

Update 4:55 pm:  The snow has started. It hasn’t deterred Queen Anne residents from enjoying a good cup of coffee. Much more snow is on the way, according to Doppler radar (forecasters say as much as 8 inches could fall in the Seattle metro area.)

Safeway was crowded with shoppers stocking up on their supplies for the weekend.  Could be hard to get out on Sunday.

If you have trouble driving, consider walking and carrying things home on a sled like these kids.
