Where is the Snow?

December 17th, 2008 · 7 Comments

Update: 3:18 pm: Like everyone in Seattle who battened down the hatches last night anticipating the “big snow,” we in Queen Anne are wondering where all that delicious snow is?  Schools closed today in Seattle giving students the day off.  Many businesses closed as they followed the weather reports and the schools.

The Magnolia Voice asks, “Is it still a snow day if there is no snow?”  MyBallard has asked its readers, “Waiting, waiting for snow” and has received 39 comments!

new forecast from the National Weather Service says the Seattle area may only see up to an inch of snow today and a total of 1 to 3 inches tonight, “heaviest on the hills and north of Seattle.” The original forecast had snow moving into Seattle this morning for total accumulations of 2 to 5 inches by tonight. Is there anyone else out there perplexed by the change in the forecast?
