Looks like Sunday afternoon was spent thrill-riding on tricycles.  This photo was taken by Josh Trujillo at the Seattle PI.

The race Sunday started at Targy’s Tavern on West Crockett Street and wound down the southwest side of the hill, where it ended at the Streamline Tavern on West Mercer Street.  According to the Seattle PI

Participants in the obviously dangerous event were encouraged to wear safety gear and only one minor wipeout was reported. Some of the tricycles – designed to carry a 4-year-old, not a 34-year-old – ended the race with twisted and worn parts.
